影片讲述了刚步入青春期的小女孩莱莉脑海中的复杂情绪进行的一场奇妙冒险。在她的大脑总部，正经历着一场突如其来的大拆迁，为意想不到的新情绪腾出空间。一直以来配合默契的情绪小伙伴乐乐（艾米·波勒AmyPoehler配音）、忧忧（菲利丝·史密斯PhyllisSmith配音）、怒怒（刘易斯·布莱克LewisBlack配音）、怕怕（托尼·海尔TonyHale配音）和厌厌（莉萨·拉皮拉LizaLapira配音），在新情绪焦焦的突然到来时变得不知所措，并且她看起来不是孤身一人。

1996年11月30日公開。全国松竹系劇場にて上映。出崎統監督作品。OVAシリーズの流れを汲む作品で、原作にはない劇場用オリジナルストーリーとして製作したもの。音楽はOVA版KARTE6より参加した川村栄二が担当、主題歌は山根麻衣『InvisibleLove』。本作最大の特徴は、キャラクターも含めた作品そのものの米国風のデザインや、患者が血を吐くシーンや頭をぶつけるシーンなどに使われた、サーモグラフィー切り替えによる演出などである。当時の最新の技術を極限まで用いた演出と、出崎監督特有の「ハーモニー」や「陰影」、「入射光」などもあり、人間の「生死」や「苦悩」をリアルに演出している。なお、2005年末、手塚眞監督によって再び映画化された作品がブラック・ジャックふたりの黒い医者であるが、内容は本作とは全くの別物。なお、前述の2005年度に公開された映画の予告に於いて「初の映画化」と謳っているうえ、一般的なイメージとしてはこちらの映画の方が強いために、本作のイメージは薄れつつある（※公式サイトの豆知識にメディア化作品が記載されているこの作品もそれに記載されているため否定しているわけではない）。ただしDVDレンタルはされているため見ることができる。セルDVDでの発売もされているが、こちらは在庫切れが相次いで入手困難の状況にある。公開当年の1996年の12月、秋田書店からフィルムコミックが発売されている。全2巻。（1巻：ISBN4-253-17328-4、2巻：ISBN4-253-17329-2）1999年末、よみうりテレビ･日本テレビ系列にて地上波TV放送された。2008年12月31日（23時45分-25時30分）TOKYOMXにての地上波局としては異例の、年を跨いでのアニメ作品放映という形で実施された。

周星星（周星驰饰）圆满完成了校园任务后，以为可以升职，偏偏被调为交通警察。跟他一样立功的曹达华（吴孟达饰）则继续以卧底的身份在学校内调查国际恐怖组织的案件。他的事业跌到了低谷，就连准备婚礼的钱都是女友阿敏（张敏饰）的私房钱，令阿星十分无奈。为了证明自己的能力，他决定以个人的身份到学校协助曹达华，恐怖分子如期行动，双方开始奋战。

边陲小镇长大的乔妍（赵丽颖饰）打拼多年之后成为了一名知名演员，但在重重压力之下，一路走来小心翼翼。随着一条匿名的勒索消息，让一桩尘封往事成为她新的阴影。同时，多年前失联的姐姐（辛芷蕾饰）突然现身，事情看似巧合，但背后又暗藏更大的危机。影片改编自张悦然的小说《大乔小乔》。
