　　维罗航空298号航班从新奥尔良起飞，按既定航线飞往西雅图。原本寻常的夜间跨城航班，在攀升至万米高空后接连出现无法解释的诡异状况。机舱仪表接连失灵，舱外闪过不明光源，全机通讯彻底中断，整架飞机与地面完全失联。随着事态不断升级，超自然异象在舱内接连浮现，现实与噩梦的边界逐渐模糊，外星势力的恶意渗透愈发明显。被困在密闭机舱里的乘客与机组人员，在完全孤立无援的绝境中，一边对抗接连失控的机舱系统，一边直面步步紧逼的未知威胁，在狭窄的机舱里争夺一线生机。

该片改编自同名小说，素材取自于2011年发生的加湿器杀菌剂事件，通过这个事件来讲述有些事情必须有人去做，还没有结束的我们所有人的故事。金相庆饰演因不明的肺部疾病而失去了妻子，儿子的生命也受到威胁的外科医生“郑泰浩”，徐英姬饰演他的妻子“韩吉珠”，李先彬饰演曾经在地方检察院担任检察官，但因为姐姐吉珠的死亡成为律师的“韩英珠”，尹京浩饰演加湿器杀菌剂制药公司的科长“徐宇植”。

律师Macy（吴君如饰)在为被控虐妻的广告公司老板Robert（张兆辉饰)辩护时两人发生一夜情致使Macy怀孕。心理矛盾的她去参加单亲妈妈心理辅导班，却不想意外遇到中学时的恋人Anita(周慧敏饰)。之前Anita和十九岁的Mike（陈伟霆饰)也因初次约会发生一夜情不幸中招怀孕。当年浪漫回忆涌现眼前，发现两人仍然钟爱对方，决定再走在一起。Anita想与Macy一起生活共同抚养孩子，可Macy对待感情却不敢承担，她的好友惠惠（谷祖琳饰)和Eleanor（万绮雯饰)也都为她担心。同时，Anita在公司饱受不公平待遇，惠惠和Eleanor召集了一群同性恋人士进行示威。Macy也第一次真实面对自己不安定的感情态度。Robert和Mike作为孩子的父亲也想对此负责。最终Macy是否会勇敢去承担自己的职责？这四个人打破常规男女关系的人会有如何的命运？
