他是一个落魄的拳手，曾经的辉煌年代早已过去，他也不愿再提，如今他推着一辆超市手推车流浪在街头，连一个名字都没有，同伴们给他起了个外号——反复嚼（塞缪尔·杰克逊SamuelL.Jackson饰）。艾里克（乔什·哈奈特JoshHartnett饰）是一个不太成功的记者，除了被老板派遣去采访一些毫无价值的体育新闻外，他一事无成。一场斗殴将这两个看似毫无交集的男人联系到了一起，艾里克将反复嚼从小混混的拳脚下救出时也发现了他惊人的拳击天赋，他认出了这个脏兮兮的老头竟然就是曾经红极一时的拳击天才，而在纷繁的传言中，他早已死于非命。一个得天独厚的机会近在眼前，艾里克知道，这将是一个多么重量级的新闻报道，而他也将就此一举成名。

黑道大哥方子（金柱赫饰）找来当地知名的通俗小说家，拜托后者将自己的故事整理成文……方子是下人出身，在三十岁时进入了李梦龙（柳承范饰）家作为其贴身仆人。梦龙在声色场所对妓寨老板娘的女儿——艺妓春香（赵茹珍饰）一见钟情，方子虽然也对春香倾心有加，但碍于下人身份，只能依靠帮助梦龙出头来展示自己。与方子同屋的老马管事知晓了方子的苦恼，指点他在为梦龙和春香之间牵线搭桥的同时如何令自己获得属意。方子自此暗度陈仓，和梦龙几乎形成了公开的竞争关系，而春香方面，其母也是御男之道的各中高手。于是两男一女开始了一场绵中有力的情欲角逐，这场竞赛将导致怎样的结局？本片改编自朝鲜古典小说《春香传》。

影片改编自同名网络小说。平凡上班族金独子（安孝燮饰），唯一嗜好是阅读网络小说《在灭亡的世界中存活的三种方法》，不过在长达十年的连载期间，他却是这个小说的唯一读者。当金独子在地铁车厢读完小说最终话时，小说中的场景却转瞬成为现实。地铁车厢仿佛成为人间炼狱，巨大怪物正践踏着这座城市，以及凭空出现在眼前的讯息：“您收到了第一个主线任务。”紧接着，熟悉的小说角色纷纷登场，而那个无比强大、牵动着整个世界命运的小说主角刘众赫（李敏镐饰），开始照着剧情一一行动。眼看熟悉的世界将不复返，一个崭新的世界正在诞生，身为唯一知晓这个新世界结局的金独子，将在升级自身能力的同时，打造出与原本小说截然不同的结局。

1996年11月30日公開。全国松竹系劇場にて上映。出崎統監督作品。OVAシリーズの流れを汲む作品で、原作にはない劇場用オリジナルストーリーとして製作したもの。音楽はOVA版KARTE6より参加した川村栄二が担当、主題歌は山根麻衣『InvisibleLove』。本作最大の特徴は、キャラクターも含めた作品そのものの米国風のデザインや、患者が血を吐くシーンや頭をぶつけるシーンなどに使われた、サーモグラフィー切り替えによる演出などである。当時の最新の技術を極限まで用いた演出と、出崎監督特有の「ハーモニー」や「陰影」、「入射光」などもあり、人間の「生死」や「苦悩」をリアルに演出している。なお、2005年末、手塚眞監督によって再び映画化された作品がブラック・ジャックふたりの黒い医者であるが、内容は本作とは全くの別物。なお、前述の2005年度に公開された映画の予告に於いて「初の映画化」と謳っているうえ、一般的なイメージとしてはこちらの映画の方が強いために、本作のイメージは薄れつつある（※公式サイトの豆知識にメディア化作品が記載されているこの作品もそれに記載されているため否定しているわけではない）。ただしDVDレンタルはされているため見ることができる。セルDVDでの発売もされているが、こちらは在庫切れが相次いで入手困難の状況にある。公開当年の1996年の12月、秋田書店からフィルムコミックが発売されている。全2巻。（1巻：ISBN4-253-17328-4、2巻：ISBN4-253-17329-2）1999年末、よみうりテレビ･日本テレビ系列にて地上波TV放送された。2008年12月31日（23時45分-25時30分）TOKYOMXにての地上波局としては異例の、年を跨いでのアニメ作品放映という形で実施された。

1962年的波兰。安娜是一名在修道院长大的孤儿。在宣誓正式成为修女之前，她离开了修道院，去见世上剩下的唯一亲人旺达。旺达告诉安娜，她是犹太人。两名女子踏上了一段旅程，不仅将发掘属于她们家族的悲剧，而且将找到她们自己真正的归属。她们开始质疑之前的信仰，质疑之前生活中所信任的一切。安娜和旺达都想继续活下去，但是当中只有一个人能做到。
